Hello,
My school has recently acquired some chromebooks and each department is going to be given the opportunity to try them so I have been reading everything I could find on them and trying to look for how to use them in languages. So apart from the apps, how would you advise beginner teachers to use them in the classroom.

I would definitely start with logistics…you are going to have to spend time teaching them what your classroom will look with technology. And practice, practice, practice. My husband has presented on classroom management in a technology rich classroom. Here is my post about the details and logistics of how I set up my 1:1 classroom. I have moved a couple of schools across in the UK from Office 365 to Google Apps for Education including a full migration of emails – I’m planning on move a few more.
I want to become a Google Apps Certified Training and have done the on-line training and I work with Google Apps a couple of times a week. The big question is how do I know when I’m ready to take the exams?
I cant find any sample questions or exams so I can judge my knowledge of each product. I don’t want to take the exams to find I’m lacking in certain area’s – but how I can judge if I am ready.
You have taken the exam what are your thoughts – did you find it easy or was there some unexpected questions. Any help or advice please.

Hi John! Don’t stress! There are a few unexpected questions on the exams and don’t expect to get 100% but they aren’t that bad. There is time limit but you also have the full internet available to you so it’s just as much about your search skills as your knowledge. If you’ve done all the material and have experience, you should be plenty ready!
After you pass the exams you will then have a year to complete the application and become certified. Let me know if you have any other questions! Good luck!
